Heard County tables Glover Road Park bid award pending investigative work

Heard County officials postponed awarding bids for the Glover Road Park project after staff and Development Authority representatives said additional investigative work was required.
Kathy Knowles (Development Authority) reported that she, Finance Director Felicia Adams, and Kevin Hamby (Hamby Management) opened bids and determined an investigative section needed to be completed before an award. The Board unanimously agreed to table the decision until the August 24, 2021 meeting (motion Caldwell/Hammond).
