The Heard County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on July 27, 2021 to rezone 3.27 acres at 470 Willis Dick Road from Rural Development to Single Family Residential to permit the property owner to split the parcel and sell a portion to a current tenant.
Applicant Barbara Lantzy sought the rezoning to enable the sale. The Planning Commission had recommended approval. With no public opposition at the hearing, the Board closed the public hearing and then approved the rezoning on a motion by Commissioner Gwen Caldwell, seconded by Commissioner Larry Hammond.
