Board members also discussed long-range bond planning to support multiple projects. Russell described a hypothetical 15-year bond levy at $0.85 per $1,000 that, combined with a state matching grant, could yield about $9 million for facility work. "If you start in late summer and work up to a full-court door-to-door effort in March and April, you can build support," Russell said, outlining outreach strategies used in other districts. The board did not commit to a bond measure at the meeting; members were asked to consider timelines and community messaging before any formal decision.
