The Bangor School Committee approved personnel items for the 2627 school year, including reassignments and several teacher nominations introduced by school principals.
Superintendent Robinson reported staff reassignments and then presented teacher nominations for approval. Principals introduced candidates: Gianna Cilli for grade 5 at Mary Snow School, Jesse Curtis as school counselor at Abraham Lincoln School, Jennifer Emerich as a part-time art teacher at 14th Street and Fairmount, Susan Hoxie as an instructional coach, and other nominees. One introducing principal said of a candidate: "She brings a wealth of experience as a visual arts teacher... and she brings a strong background of differentiating instruction, social emotional learning, and community engagement to our schools." The committee moved and approved the nominations and reassignments by recorded voice votes (4–0).
The superintendent also presented extra duty assignments (department heads, STEM coordinator, special ed department head) and the committee approved those recommendations by voice vote (4–0).
