The Presenter (speaker 2) summarized the district's special revenue funds and federal program outlook. "For 2024–25 Rogue River School District received basically $973,000 in SIA funds," he said and warned that allocations for 2025–26 could decrease under state allocations. He explained a $160,000 increase in ESD pass-through funds resulted from the district taking more high‑needs students in‑house and contracting directly for services rather than routing through the ESD.
On federal programs, the presenter said the President's proposed budget offered no cuts to Title I and IDEA this cycle but cautioned that "it is not a done deal until Congress gets done with the budget." He noted Title I and IDEA are material drivers of staffing and services and that changes at the federal level would take time to reach the district (some effects could not hit until a later biennium).
