District to host October reunification training with regional partners; board policy platform moves to Neola

District staff described work with neighboring districts and safety partners to standardize reunification procedures and announced plans to host a regional training on Oct. 12 during the regional professional development day. The session will invite neighboring superintendents, SROs, county sheriff's staff, local police and fire departments and EMS to coordinate reunification protocols across districts.
Tony said the district also transitioned its board policy platform to Neola; the public and administrators can view draft policies on the new platform and administrators will provide login guidance to board members. "It's all up and running on our website," Tony said, noting drafts will be visible for review including the Act 89 draft policy.
