Tony told the board the district's current enrollment stood at 1,234 students — roughly 30 fewer than in spring — and administrators will continue to monitor registrations before school starts.
"So right now, we're at 1,234," Tony said. He reported certified staff vacancies are largely filled (with the persistent exception of a speech-language position) but that the district continues to recruit for roughly four paraprofessional positions. Administrators described a professional open-house event to recruit support staff and said they would continue outreach to fill those roles before the school year.
