The Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council on Oct. 24 asked the Supervisor’s office to request a Public Works quote for a new monument sign and lighting after hearing the CSA budget does not include funds for a new sign.
Field Representative Israel Rodriguez told members that the CSA budget covers repairs but not the cost of a new monument; the MAC was asked to explore outside funding or fundraising to cover a new installation. Rodriguez also reported recent enhancements to the Oak Park webpage, including MAC member photos, and said a redesigned site is under development to improve constituent interaction with the Supervisor’s office.
No formal funding decision was made; members asked the Supervisor’s office to return cost estimates for future consideration.
