Public Works told the Oak Park MAC on Jan. 30 that a request for proposals (RFP) for landscape services has been issued and that the current contract with Enhanced Landscape will continue through June 30 to ensure no interruption of service.
George Andrade, Real Estate Services Manager with Public Works, emphasized that the new contract and service expectations must align with available CSA4 budget resources. Chair Brian Trushinski asked for monthly or bi-monthly updates identifying remaining funds in each CSA4 budget line so the MAC can prioritize projects based on available funds. Andrade said the budget would be presented at the February meeting and that he would provide further details on the RFP and contract timelines.
MAC members recorded a request for regular financial reporting and asked staff to return with a budget presentation at the next meeting to support committee work and project prioritization.
