Town Manager Doug Polen told the council the Town executed a contract with CivicPlus for agenda and facilities management software; "Implementation is expected to occur around September 1, 2026." Polen also said utility work for an electrical pedestal at Doko Manor would begin the following week with anticipated completion during July.
Interim Town Manager Ed Driggers delivered farewell remarks marking the conclusion of his 16-month service. Driggers highlighted several accomplishments, including assisting the Town through the transition from a Strong Mayor form of government to a Council-Manager form, conducting the Town Manager recruitment process, guiding development of two annual budgets, evaluating Doko Manor operations toward enterprise fund status, and preparing the Town for anticipated growth associated with Scout Motors. He announced he had accepted another interim municipal consulting assignment and thanked Council and staff for the opportunity to serve.
