Officials urge preparedness as Mountain Fire recovery continues

The Council and several residents stressed ongoing wildfire-risk work: reviewing evacuation routes, improving home hardening, removing flammable invasive plants and coordinating with county agencies. No formal action altering county recovery policy was taken; the Council documented community concerns and directed staff to continue outreach and to include wildfire preparedness in the MAC's 2025 work plan.
