Members of the Oak Park community raised concerns about coordination, communication and permitting for recent Medea Creek clearing. The MAC asked county staff to provide the draft 2025–2030 California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) Routine Maintenance Agreement for public review and invited Watershed staff to the October meeting to respond to questions.
The tickler log records: "The MAC requests that the public have the opportunity to review and provide input on the DRAFT Watershed Protection District’s 2025-2030 DRAFT CDFW Routine Maintenance Agreement for consideration and inclusion in the final Agreement submission to CDFW (due by year-end)." Ashley (listed in the packet) was noted as arranging Watershed staff participation.
County staff indicated the draft would be provided as part of a future packet and that the MAC could consider input before the county finalizes the agreement; no final action or decision on the agreement was taken at the Feb. 27 meeting.
