Oak Park MAC files tickler-log update; paving and ADA curb upgrades set for December 2026

The Oak Park Municipal Advisory Committee on Feb. 27 received and filed its Request Tickler Log, which shows nine of ten previously reported items remain open and that two items now carry updated estimated completion dates. County Roads and Transportation set the East Oak Park paving project and related ADA curb-ramp upgrades for completion in December 2026.
"Per Roads and Transportation, the estimated completion date is December 2026," the log states. The packet notes the paving work will include upgrades to curb ramps that were flagged as noncompliant at the Medea Creek Lane and Oak Hills Drive intersection.
The log also shows item #2 — a request for speed humps on Conifer Street — has been closed. The entry cites a 2018 engineering and traffic study that posts the road at 35 mph and explains that ‘‘one of the requirements for speed humps is that it can be installed only on roadways with speed limit 25 MPH or lower,’’ recommending enforcement and CHP notification as the appropriate next step.
The committee’s action was procedural: the MAC filed the tickler log as a consent item and did not take separate motions on individual projects. County staff advised that projects remain pending and provided target dates and status updates in the log.
