Staff announce Cedar Park won statewide ORPA design and construction award

Recreation staff announced that Cedar Park (featuring Basecamp) won the Oregon Recreation and Park Association design and construction award for the state and will be represented at the ORPA conference Oct. 8 in Eugene.
John announced that Cedar Park, featuring Basecamp, won the Oregon Recreation and Park Association (ORPA) design and construction award for the state. "We nominated Cedar Park featuring Basecamp for the ORPA design and construction award for the year, and recently found out that we won that award," John said, and he encouraged members to note the Oct. 8 ORPA conference in Eugene where the park will be showcased.
John said the recognition will place the park's design and construction in front of a regional audience of park professionals and acknowledged staff and community contributions to the project. No further action was requested other than recognition and attendance opportunities at the conference.
