"I think that clause really just means that hey, you guys had, you know, looked at this and had some comments and wanted to make changes... I think, is the gist," CTC’s representative said when describing the clause; CTC agreed it could be removed.
Commissioners also discussed permitting and site certification for debris‑disposal areas required by state regulators and FEMA. Staff said they would work with DES and FEMA to ensure the county’s disposal sites and documentation meet federal requirements. The board moved to enter the agreement with CTC; the motion was seconded and carried, with the minutes recording at least one 'I opposed.' The chair asked CTC to provide a clean, fill‑in copy for signature; CTC agreed to return a completed version within 15–30 minutes.
