Payson’s Planning Commission voted unanimously to forward recommended edits to the South Meadows Area Specific Plan that staff said would clarify how residential density is interpreted in the area plan documents. Michael Bryant presented the edits as part of a package intended to create consistent density language across codes and plans.
There was no public comment during the hearing. Commissioners then moved to send a favorable recommendation on the South Meadows plan to City Council; motions passed with recorded unanimous support. Staff will include the plan edits in the Council packet for final action.
