Marilyn McDonald and the conservation agent said the lab submittal for soils near wells 10A and 10B did not meet the requested Tier‑1 MCP sampling protocol: the file showed only 18 metals were analyzed, VOCs and the full MCP 14‑metal panel were missing, minimal detection limits (MDLs) were not adhered to, and pH and conductance measures were absent. "So we're unfortunately gonna have to do another run," McDonald said, stressing the importance of conclusive results given the proximity to drinking‑water wells.
DPW director Zwetto (as introduced to the meeting) acknowledged the concern and agreed to follow up with the contractor and the laboratory. "We'll do the 14 panels," he said, and asked the agent to email the requested sampling protocol so the DPW can coordinate corrections and include the required parameters in the Notice of Intent submittal.
