Pleasant Grove Public Library earns Utah State Library Quality Library Award; city recognized as a JustServe city

Mayor Eric Jensen read a certificate recognizing the Pleasant Grove Public Library for "outstanding service to their community during 2025" and awarding the library the Utah State Library Quality Library Award. Library Director Sherri Britsch and staff described the library’s programming, the Literacy Center's one‑on‑one tutoring, summer reading efforts, and outreach activities that meet or exceed state standards for visits, checkout rates, programming and staff development.
Tom and Dana Fox presented a JustServe city certificate and discussed next steps to nominate Pleasant Grove as a JustServe Global City; Council members commended library staff and volunteers. "The Quality Library Award is a designation that the State Library determines during recertification," Mayor Jensen read, and staff emphasized the library's community role and award criteria.
