Recreation Director Karl Teemant reported that a nationwide outage of the recreation software briefly disrupted baseball registration but the system returned to service in time to complete signups. He said the recreation department is preparing the pool for the season and is hiring seasonal staff.
Teemant announced a public open house on March 16 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Payson City Library to receive public input on a feasibility study exploring options for a new library building or relocation. The open house is intended to gather community feedback to inform the feasibility study and any subsequent recommendations to the council.
