Fire chief reports multiple brush fires, use of air resources

The chief said two of those fires used the department's own aircraft and that being among the first in the state to deploy air support this season had been helpful. The chief also noted ongoing work on a countywide radio system RFP and collective bargaining/negotiation topics being handled by staff.
