Todd presented a design agreement with Parametrics for Elm Street overlay Phase 2, which extends the project from North 6 down to 2nd Street. He said phase 1 is approaching 90% design and the city was awarded roughly $1.3 million from TIB for the work. "Right now, our focus is on Elm Street and then also, the traffic circle at North 6," Todd said, and outlined an anticipated design schedule that could lead to construction bidding this spring or early summer.
Councilmembers said the Public Works Committee had reviewed the agreement and moved to approve the design contract. The resolution (F351) passed and staff will continue design work to reach construction-ready documents, pursue bidding and coordinate with TIB timelines.
