Councilmembers said the work had been vetted in committee and argued the investment will improve long-term maintenance planning and help justify potential future street tax measures. After discussion and a motion to adopt the resolution, the council approved the street-scan service agreement (Resolution F344). Staff was asked to return with scheduling details and a GIS-integrated output for the council and public works committee.
