Elections staff told the board that state minimum wage increased effective Jan. 1, 2026, from $10.55 to $10.85 per hour and requested corresponding pay increases for election workers: regular election judges to $10.85, chiefs to $11.35 and managers to $11.85.
Staff said the increases were pre‑planned in the budget and the board moved and approved the pay adjustments without public comment (SEG 521–563).
