At the Jan. 7 meeting, commissioners approved Resolution 2026-02, which designates the southeast and northeast entrances of the main floor of the Libby Courthouse and the public bulletin board at the Eureka annex as official posting locations for public notices required under MCA 7-1-2123. The resolution further allows the county to publish required notices on its official website as a supplement to physical posting.
Commissioners described the proposal as standard practice and confirmed online posting is supplemental to the physical notice required by statute. "The bulletin board is located at the southeast and northeast entrance of the main floor of the Libby courthouse and the public bulletin board in the main business office at the Eureka annex," staff read during the adoption. The board approved the resolution with no public comment.
