Flint said there have been ongoing email negotiations with the developer and more time is needed to negotiate terms. Councilmember Johnny Ferry moved to table the item; the motion passed 3-0.
No substantive vote on the amendment was taken; staff and the city attorney will continue negotiations with the developer before bringing the item back for council consideration.
