Principals report assistant principal's return and district welcomes new directors of teaching and learning

District principals reported staffing updates at the Sherwood SD 88J principals' session, including the return of an assistant principal from maternity leave who has taken on leadership ambassador duties and helped lead student service projects. "She has embraced our industry leadership ambassador program, wholeheartedly and done some really amazing work," one principal said.
Board member (S3) introduced three new directors of teaching and learning — Patrick, Chuckrell, and Millie Wilkinson — and noted upcoming presentations by those directors to school administration teams (Millie with SMS and Patrick with SHS) at the October work session. The board and principals discussed supporting those leaders through school visits and invited board members to attend events to better understand school operations.
