Public Works staff updated the board on several utility projects, focusing on the Westside Pump Station. "We made it through the bulk of the ripping and tearing of town...That line's been tested and passed, the pressure tests on that," Paul said, noting the wet well is being precast and will arrive in three sections totaling about 60,000 pounds and requiring a large crane for installation. Staff described ongoing inspections (third-party geotechnical and concrete inspectors) and a remaining punch list before final acceptance.
Staff also reported progress on the Edgerton Transmission Main (design contract underway) and said the Forest Service issued a notice to proceed after NEPA analysis covering both the Edgerton line and reservoir improvements. Staff said the pump-station project has remained on budget and that they will continue to monitor weather and sequencing as the work moves to vertical construction and equipment installation.
