Task force to review Winter Park traffic-calming devices in field on Aug. 17; staff to compile member feedback

Staff told the subcommittee the August 17 session will be a field review during which staff will inventory existing traffic calming devices and assemble a "traffic calming toolbox" of treatments and locations for task force consideration.
Committee members cited local examples (Garden Drive near Mead Garden, Melrose, Winter Park Drive, North Howell and Old New England) the task force may inspect. Staff asked members to send voting-matrix feedback by email to the presenter, Charles or Jason; compiled responses will be discussed at subsequent meetings, including a funding and asset management review planned for Nov. 16.
