Carroll explained Division 22 as Oregon's administrative rules for public education and walked through specific requirements and reporting deadlines: the local assurances report must be available to the community by Nov. 1 and the district submits the presentation and assurances to the state by Nov. 15. She noted several recently adopted or waived items the district is tracking, including the Menstrual Dignity Act (reported as in compliance) and new health-services planning requirements.
Carroll identified one area not yet fully met: elementary PE instructional minutes (the standard is 150 minutes per week). She said the district hired three additional PE teachers and revised the master schedule to create a specials block so that "at this time next year, we will be reporting compliance within this rule, and our corrective action will be approved." Board members responded positively to the progress report.
