Chief Business Officer Jemima West presented the Jacoby Creek School District’s Second Interim Budget Report, which was prepared in coordination with the Humboldt County Office of Education business office. The board was told this report is the district’s second formal budget review after initial adoption and reflects changes to revenue and expenditures since the budget was adopted.
Trustees had an opportunity to ask questions about assumptions in revenue and expenditure projections. The board approved the item by motion, with Trustee Alexis George moving and Trustee Aaron Hohl seconding; the motion passed unanimously. The report will remain part of the district’s fiscal record for the 2024–25 year and be used for subsequent reporting to the county office and state as required.
