After executive session, Kimball council hires part-time maintenance worker and approves library payout

The Kimball City Council entered executive session at 8:32 p.m. pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(1) for personnel matters and recessed at 9:19 p.m. After returning to open session, the council approved two personnel actions recorded in minutes.
On motions by Matt Bilben (seconded by Harold Bickner) and Bilben (seconded by Stellwag), the council voted 4-0 to hire Jahn Schumacher at $25 per hour for part‑time maintenance and to pay Nancy Munger for her eligible portion of unused vacation and sick leave as of Jan. 1 when the library position changes to part‑time.
