The Kimball City Council on Jan. 5 approved Resolution 2026-01, the 2026 Fine and Bond Schedule, adopting new rates and fees effective Jan. 1, 2026. Council voted 5-0 to approve the resolution after an amendment increasing the private swimming lesson fee to $175 per session prevailed.
The amendment process began with a motion to change private lesson fees from $60 to $100, which was then amended to $175 per private lesson; the amended motion carried and the resolution was approved by roll call (Bickner-aye; Stellwag-aye; Blasius-aye; Janish-aye; Bilben-aye). The minutes show other items established in the schedule, including parking fines ($25 if paid within 10 days; $40 after 10 days), pool season and daily pass rates (family season pass $100; adult daily pass $3.00), and utility base rates (water base $15.00; sewer base $27.00 for 5,000 gallons).
