During the Supervisors27 requests and public-comment period, residents raised several neighborhood maintenance items and regulatory questions.
Anita Bachragh asked that a downed tree by River 9 Catch Basin #134 be brought upright and said the conservation area may need additional clearing; Operations Manager Shane Willis agreed to review past minutes and asked for photographs so staff could investigate. Christine Mantilia asked whether fire trucks could use lake water to lower lake levels; Mr. Krebs said this is not typical and would require approval from the South Florida Water Management District. Larry Fiesel asked about the speed sign project; Mr. Willis said Mr. Long is scheduling training for his staff and will provide an update at the next meeting.
Staff noted lighting issues should be reported to The Club. The board requested staff follow up on the tree and conservation-area concerns and to provide an update on the speed sign training at the Sept. 4 meeting.
