City Manager Rogers told the council the city submitted a letter supporting RTD's end‑line coalition and is tracking a county presentation on efforts to secure funding. "I should hopefully have more information to share with you all after that board meeting by RTD," he said, noting follow‑up will determine next steps.
Rogers also reported staff is tentatively scheduling a town hall for September with the Department of Defense and is reaching out to EPA, DOT, FRA and HUD to invite agency representatives to meet with residents and answer questions. He described the outreach as an action item stemming from recent federal meetings and said the city will provide updates on confirmed participants and timing as arrangements progress.
