The Park Rapids City Council unanimously approved payables totaling $1,603,131.17 and prepaids of $142,828.20 at its Oct. 28 meeting. The move cleared routine bills and allowed the city to proceed with vendor payments listed on the agenda.
The council also approved the consent agenda, which included multiple resolutions and vendor payments noted in the packet: reappointments to boards, Minnesota Lawful Gambling LG220 raffle applications, a new on‑sale intoxicating liquor license for The Clubhouse Restaurant LLC, and vendor payments ranging from $1,685.84 to $1,192,247.50. A motion to approve payables was made by Vice Mayor Liz Stone and seconded by Councilmember Tim Little; both motions were carried unanimously.
