CDD selects representatives for Pelican Sound Community Safeguard Panel; action plan incoming

Chair Bob Schultz reported that the Pelican Sound Community Safeguard Panel identified objectives where the CDD will be involved. The board designated Mr. Merrill to represent the CDD on Objective 2, related to safeguarding the community from natural disaster impacts, and Mr. Twombly to represent Objective 4, related to improving street safety.
PSGRC General Manager Eric Long said he circulated an updated Action Plan of seven objectives to the communities and provided a high-level overview of other objectives and panel membership. Mr. Long responded to questions about storm surge scenarios (discussing possible surges above 15 feet) and said he will provide an update on the panel's first meeting, scheduled for December.
