Board reviews unaudited Dec. 31, 2024 financials and 10-year forecast items

Mrs. Adams presented the Unaudited Financial Statements as of Dec. 31, 2024 and described accounting recoding: expenses that caused the 'Engineering' budget to exceed budget will be recoded to the Special Revenue Fund and $4,343 will be recoded from 'Contingencies' to the 'Landscape' General Fund outside the gates. Kurt Blumenthal noted unassigned working capital carried into Fiscal Year 2025 and said the CDD remains on sound financial footing.
Eric Long said additional forecasted items to be included in the Board's 10-year forecast are the Lake 8 stormwater management project, asphalt and gutter repairs and replacement of irrigation pipes that are 31 years old. Staff provided the statements for informational purposes and will present a 10-year forecast at the next meeting.
