District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and said MRI expects work to begin in two to three weeks. Krebs noted ancillary irrigation costs tied to the project: Irrigation Concepts proposed $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and $1,300 each to raise about seven to eight irrigation heads.
On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz, the board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order to repair damaged wiring and raise the irrigation heads, authorizing a not‑to‑exceed amount of $15,000. The work is intended to preserve the original drainage project intent while allowing operational adjustments.
