Premier Lakes reports minimal red algae, schedules aeration fixes and equipment installation

Dustin Hormann of Premier Lakes reported to the River Ridge Board that crews identified minimal red algae in the lakes and planned treatment for the following day. He said dry retention areas were recently treated and that aeration issues were corrected except for two aerators that require electrical work scheduled for next week. Hormann also said a 'zombie box' unit is on back order and will be installed at the Masters in about three weeks.
Eric Long told the Board he had emailed District Engineer Charlie Krebs about inspecting the littorals behind 20859 Glen Eagles Lakes Drive; Krebs will obtain costs to replant cord grass and arrowhead. The board did not take additional action beyond directing staff to obtain cost estimates and schedule necessary electrical work for the remaining aerators.
