The consent agenda included surplus and disposal requests, final acceptance of public rights-of-way for several developments, resolutions waiving alcohol-license residency requirements for several applicants, and a CATS agreement to provide dedicated bus service to ACE Academy students. The board approved the consent agenda by motion and a recorded unanimous vote.
Following the consent vote, county staff presented and the board approved a range of procurement and intergovernmental items including: vehicle purchases for the Sheriff’s Office (three 2025 Ford Explorers at $114,910 and a 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe at $57,800), an IGA to accept $130,000 in opioid-settlement funds from the City of Woodstock, amendments to roadway resurfacing IGAs with Woodstock and Holly Springs (with specified reimbursable amounts), SPLOST-funded sidewalk and traffic-signal construction awards (amounts in the mid-hundreds of thousands), and IT upgrades for public-safety network switches ($80,004.18). The board also accepted a $52,424 payment for an EMS program and approved required budget adjustments.
Most individual items included contract amounts and implementation timelines; board votes to approve individual purchases and IGAs were recorded during the meeting.
