Court Executive Officer Rebecca Fleming accepted a Distinguished Service Award in recognition of more than 18 years in senior court management and 27 years in the judicial branch. Presenters highlighted Fleming’s statewide leadership—service as vice chair of the Trial Court Budget Advisory Committee and work to expand remote access, online case viewing and fine‑payment tools.
Fleming said she was humbled by the recognition and credited a broad network of presiding judges, court executives and staff for sustaining improvements during the COVID‑19 pandemic and beyond. “It is an honor to stand before you here today,” Fleming said, thanking mentors and colleagues whose work, she said, underpins court improvements. Presenters noted Fleming’s role in emphasizing funding equity, interpreter services improvements and initiatives to address court reporter shortages across the state.
