The Industrial Development Authority took several routine financial and minutes actions during its June 10 meeting.
Chair Kyle Hurt noted the May 13 minutes were in members' packets; the board approved the minutes on motion of Mr. Darell Cantrell, seconded by Mr. Mack Payne (4–0; Mrs. Protti-Lawrence and Mr. Addison were not present for that vote). The board then approved a revised May Invoice Summary (motion by Mr. Mack Payne, seconded by Mr. Cantrell; 4–0) after staff reported corrections to entries and added KW hours to AEP bills. Mrs. Harris noted an added payment on the June Invoice Summary: "The added payment on the invoice summary includes a payment to Gillespie, Hart, Pyott, Thomas for $2,205.00 for attorney fees." The June Invoice Summary was approved on motion by Mr. Mack Payne and seconded by Mrs. Rachel Patton (4–0). Separately, Mr. Cantrell and Mrs. Patton signed off on the May General and Grant bank statements; the board approved those statements 5–0 (Mr. Addison was not present for that vote).
These approvals covered routine accounting and an identified legal fee payment; the minutes record who moved and seconded each motion and the recorded tallies.
