The board authorized IDA Attorney Brad Pyott and Economic Development Director Tim Danielson to negotiate appropriate lease terms for land to serve Shooters of Grace and to negotiate a lease of the Bluestone Shell building. The motion passed unanimously (6–0) and included direction that finalized terms be brought back to the board for approval and ratification at the June meeting.
Board members said the authority to negotiate was intended to expedite site work and tenant arrangements while preserving the board’s ability to approve final lease terms. The motion followed executive-session discussion of prospective business development opportunities in the Bluestone area and aligns with the IDA’s stated goal of activating underused property in the county.
