Leola sets April 8 election; petitions may circulate Jan. 31–Feb. 28

Council President Michael Yost recorded that the city election will be held April 8, 2025. Seats listed as up for election included Mayor (open, one-year term), Ward 1 (Jackie Leibel, two-year term), Ward 2 (Brett Schaible, two-year term) and Ward 3 (Alan Wimer, two-year term). Petitions may be circulated from January 31 through February 28.
The Finance Office announced it will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 to accept petition filings and noted additional office closures for training and election-related webinars in March.
