City staff: Meadows RV project's environmental review complete; presentation expected in coming months

City planning staff updated the commission that the Meadows RV project’s environmental review is complete and that staff had received external comments.
"They closed their books on the environmental review, which was January 4," a staff member reported. Staff said comments from River Delta Unified School District, the state department of geology and multiple tribal organizations have been received and will be addressed in the project presentation to the commission. The presentation could come to the February meeting or, if not ready, to the March meeting or a special session.
Commissioners acknowledged the project’s potential economic benefits and several public commenters asked staff to pay close attention to sewer and infrastructure impacts when responding to the CEQA comments.
