Staff provided two quotes for abatement, with the lowest just under $15,000. Pastor Rich Lusk of Trinity Presbyterian (speaker 14) offered volunteer assistance; council adopted a motion (mover: council member, speaker 9) to declare the nuisance but give the owner 30 days and work with staff and the church before filing in circuit court. The motion passed by voice vote.
