The Greencastle Community School Corp board accepted two donations during its Dec. 15 meeting: $5,000 from DePauw University for the Greencastle High School (GHS) Tiger Cub Collective and $8,560 from the Gary/Linda Huber Fund for Cultural Arts and Learning. The Huber fund gift is allocated across GHS, Greencastle Middle School (GMS) and Tzouanakis Intermediate (TZ), with each department receiving $1,070 as stated in the agenda materials.
Superintendent Jeff Gibboney recommended acceptance of the donations; the board approved by unanimous vote. The donations will be processed and allocated by district administration consistent with donor intent and accounting rules.
