Board approves consent agenda, including personnel actions and financial reports

The Greencastle Community School Corp board unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Dec. 15 meeting. The package included approval of meeting minutes, payroll and voucher claims (including lists with numbers for 11/21/25 and 11/24/25–12/15/25), and the November 2025 financial reports showing beginning balances, revenue, expenditures and ending balances.
The personnel report included multiple certified and classified items: resignations (for example, Jessie McKean as science teacher effective May 21, 2026 and Sidney Lantzy as preschool instructional assistant effective Dec. 19, 2025), FMLA approval for Brian Hammett (Jan. 5–Feb. 13, 2026), and hires/approvals such as Delaney Heminger (Agriculture Teacher effective Jan. 2, 2026) and several 2025–26 coach and sponsor appointments. Jimmy Beasley moved to approve the consent agenda; Kathryn Dory seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
