Leola council approves surplus and sale of generator; disposes old pool heater and mower

The council voted to surplus a 1997 JR Hollingsworth 30 kW three-phase generator and list it for sale through SDML Magazine with a $3,000 asking price; Council President Michael Yost was given authority to compromise on price. The motion to surplus and sell the generator was moved by Yost and seconded by Brett Schaible and recorded as carried.
Separately, the council declared the old pool heater surplus at zero value and authorized disposal, and approved surplus and sale of the 2006 Grasshopper lawnmower on the fall consignment sale. These actions were approved on motions recorded in the minutes as unanimous votes.
