Councilmember Jackie Rau moved to adopt the ordinance, Councilmember Brett Schaible seconded, and the motion carried with the council announcing, “All in favor, motion carried.”
The ordinance lists General Fund appropriations of $635,138.26, including $156,500 for streets, $51,200 for the pool, and $66,700 for parks. The document directs the Finance Officer to certify the maximum amount of tax dollars to the McPherson County Auditor; the ordinance itemizes projected property taxes (CPI 3.0% and 0.69% growth) and an available opt-out amount, yielding a total levy figure of $302,924.56.
